In addition to seeking approvals from the Queensland State Government under the planning legislation, the Project will also be referred to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water under the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Act 1999 (EPBC Act) to understand if Commonwealth approval is required.
